Jamie B. Levine is a highly sought-after voice teacher serving students throughout Fairfax and Loudoun Counties in Northern Virginia. She maintains a thriving private voice studio, where she works with singers of all ages and experience levels to develop healthy vocal technique, artistry, and confidence.
Prior to establishing her Northern Virginia studio, Ms. Levine maintained successful private studios in Annapolis and Ellicott City, Maryland; Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Springfield, Illinois; and Miami and Tallahassee, Florida. Her extensive teaching experience across the country has allowed her to mentor a diverse range of students and cultivate a dynamic, individualized approach to vocal instruction.
Ms. Levine previously served as an Applied Voice Instructor and Teaching Artist with the Apex Arts Magnet Program at Anne Arundel County Public Schools. In this role, she maintained a private voice studio while teaching courses in Musical Theatre Performance, Pop/Rock Performance, and Audition Technique. She also served as the music director for the Apex Arts Rising Stars Vocal Company.
Ms. Levine's students have earned acceptance to some of the nation's most respected vocal performance and musical theatre programs including Ithaca College, Berklee College of Music, Peabody Conservatory, Shenandoah Conservatory, the University of Maryland, Chicago College of Performing Arts, Florida State University, the University of Georgia, Oklahoma City University, Oberlin Conservatory, James Madison University, West Virginia University, the University of the Arts, and Towson University.
Ms. Levine works with students throughout Northern Virginia, including Reston, McLean, Vienna, Ashburn, Leesburg, and surrounding communities. Whether preparing for college auditions, competitions, performances, or personal artistic growth, she provides individualized instruction designed to help each singer achieve their unique goals.

Singing is an athletic, full-body activity. Just like preparing for a sport or high-level competition, developing a strong singing voice requires physical engagement, core stability, and muscle coordination. I coach students to understand how full-body engagement directly supports healthy vocal production—specifically utilizing appoggio breath support. By helping young performers connect physical movement and core engagement to their singing, they learn to produce a natural, free-flowing sound without unnecessary tension.
Every student learns differently, so I tailor my vocal instruction to match your child’s unique learning style and interests. I frequently bridge the gap between technical concepts and a student’s everyday routine—whether that means connecting breath control to a sport they play or relating resonance to another passion. After building a reliable foundation in posture and breath management, we focus on clear vocal onset, resonance, and tone quality.
