Atticus Cooper Boidy is an award-winning Teaching Artist, Technical Director, and Director with over a decade of experience in theater and arts education. Specializing in musical theatre performance, Atticus is passionate about helping actors bridge the gap between singing and storytelling—bringing authenticity, intention, and emotional depth to every song.

Atticus has taught a wide range of acting and musical theatre workshops across the region, including audition intensives, production challenges, and classroom residencies with organizations such as Children’s Theatre of Annapolis, Theatre in the Park, Maryland Curiosity Lab, Cornerstone Tutorials, and Everyman Theatre. His work spans topics from audition technique and character development to technical theatre, giving him a uniquely well-rounded perspective that he brings into every classroom.

Known for creating engaging, supportive, and high-energy learning environments, Atticus encourages performers to move beyond simply “singing well” and instead focus on truthful acting, clear objectives, and strong storytelling within their music. His approach empowers students to make bold, specific choices and connect deeply with their material.
